Spaceport Visit 24th January 2018

On Monday the Y2 children visited Spaceport as part of their topic this half term. The visit obviously captured the children's imagination as several children were encouraged to do some extra learning at home after the trip. Callum Cooper made a telescope and a rocket and wrote this recount of the visit.

I went on an amazing school trip to the Space Port in Liverpool. First we went in a huge dome and we saw stars and planets and we saw what effect space has on human bodies. Then we went around the museum, I was so excited! After we had lunch. Finally we went on a simulated ride, the ride was shaky and wobbly. We had a black screen in front of us, we were on a rollercoaster. Finally we got on the coach and travelled back to school.
