Yoga and Mindfulness Session 2nd May 2017

 On Tuesday all the year 6 children had the opportunity to take part in a yoga session with Emma Wilshaw, a yoga and mindfulness teacher. The session has been purposefully scheduled ahead of the following week’s SATs to support our Year 6 children develop yoga postures, breathing and mindfulness techniques in order for them to remain calm and increase their overall well-being. The children thoroughly enjoyed the session and it had a positive effect on their behaviour and attitude when they returned to class.
