This term in Year 2 RE we have been exploring what Christians believe is 'good news' linking this to Christmas.

As part of this unit our children began thinking about the terms secular & religious to match the two sides of Christmas and looking at religious artefacts.

Our children had a sensory introduction to the Christmas story - smelling frankincense and Myrrh.

We had a Wow Morning creating Christingles. These helped us remember the beliefs Christians link to Christmas and the good news in a creative way.
