Year 4 had an RE Wow morning linked to their learning about the Hindu Faith & Diwali.  The children had explored stories linked to this faith and Today explored how Hindus celebrate. A musical theatre Actor from the London West End, called Andy came into our school and ran a Diwali dance workshop with our children.

The children learn all about Hastas (hand movements) and other traditional bhangra dance moves whilst retelling the story of Rama and Sita. The children also made Diva lamps from coloured modelling clay and decorated them with sequins as well as learning about other traditions.
