This week’s Wednesday assembly looked at the theme of food waste at Supermarkets alongside a brief look at items in the news and some current events.

We thought about how food waste and the difference between best before and use by dates. We looked at some of the things supermarkets were doing to tackle waste currently including donations to charities and what could help in the future to have a better impact on our world and local communities.  

We also thought about World book day which took place this week.
