Do you respect views that are different to yours?

This week’s Wednesday assembly explored ideas linked to the British Values. We looked at ideas connected with recognising different types of views and how we can show respect for other people’s ideas, alongside our brief look at items in the news as usual and some current events.

 

 

 

Our children then voted as to how they felt about the questions below for their Key Stage, with KS2 thinking about to what extent they can recognise when views are more extreme and are no longer ideas that the majority can happily hold as part within the principles of British Values:
