Children study the same text within guided reading and writing lessons. 

 

Guided reading sessions are planned carefully to ensure that children’s comprehension and higher order reading skills are developed. 

 

Children have four high quality guided reading sessions per week where they will have the opportunity to work independently as well as with an adult.
