In Year 6, children receive weekly homework. This will consist of a selection of Maths, Reading or Grammar tasks. The children will receive a copy of these on a Friday and it will be due back in school the following Wednesday.

Homework set will be a consolidation of taught skills within school. If children are finding the homework difficult, then they can access the learning room for additional adult support on the Monday or Tuesday.

Weekly homework in Year 6 supports the transition for high school and it prepares the children for SATs.
