All pupils here at New Ford Academy are given the opportunity for responsibility. Our youngest children are encouraged, from day one, to start to use our school value of independence and have the responsibility of beginning to do things for themselves.

Each year we choose a head boy and head girl to represent our school and be actively involved with the teams and the school council. This year these are:

Each class has a variety of roles such as register monitor or snack monitor that give to children the opportunity to understand their role and responsibilities within a group and the need for everyone to contribute to the school community.

Outside of individual classes there are further opportunities to make a positive contribution to our school by taking on additional responsibilities.
