Library Bookstart Treasure Pack Visit - 15th March We had a wonderful time in Nursery this week when Kylie Scott, one of our Community Librarians came to visit, to read some exciting and funny stories to us, including 'Press Here' by Herve Tullet, and 'One Banana, Two Bananas' by Adam and Charlotte Guillain. We were all able to take home and keep a copy of 'One Banana, Two Bananas', as part of our Bookstart Treasure Packs. We had a super morning!

22nd March 2023

Poppies had a very exciting Secret Story teller in the Poppies today!

Matilda from Signal 1's breakfast show came to read two stories to us.

We particularly loved the story ' Super Red Riding Hood' by Gemma Cary- Red Riding hood was a brave super hero! We all listened very intently and Matilda also talked to us about her job on the radio.

Big thank you Matilda, we loved having you to visit 🙂.

If you would like to be a Secret Story teller and read a story to our class, please get in touch with the school office or your child's class teacher.

Class CE loved having Luis visit our class last week to be our secret story teller. We were smiling the whole time! You are welcome anytime Luis. Thank you again!

In recognition of our outstanding readers in year 6, the children were given a token to use at the book vending machine.

Well done to you all!
