Making Porridge 9th November 2023
This week in Nursery, the children have been listening to the story of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. We have enjoyed a whole host of activities linked to the story, including constructing new chairs for Baby Bear, making and counting cakes for the three bears' tea party and creating new blankets for the bears' beds .
We even found a crime scene in our role play area where someone had made a huge mess! (It turned out to be Goldilocks!) We have made some delicious porridge to taste, using oats and warm water. We observed how the oats changed when mixed with the water.
When we tried them, they weren't 'too hot', or 'too cold', they were 'just right'!
