On Monday 16th October 2023, children in years 1 to 6 attended a 'restart a heart' workshop delivered by a wonderful team of NHS Professionals.

An incredible 339 children attended these workshops and were taught basic life support training and even got to practise their new skills on a manikin. 

The children thoroughly enjoyed this day, we are so grateful to have been given this wonderful opportunity.

We got to learn what CPR is and how to perform it.  If you find someone who is unresponsive and not breathing, you perform CPR on them.  This is restarting the heart.  We all got to practice doing CPR on a practice dummy.  It was a very enjoyable workshop for all!
