The Festival of Easter
Introduction:
The children have been learning in RE how Easter is celebrated by Christians around the world.
What happened on our Wow Day
On Tuesday 30th March 2021, the children of year 3 took part in a WOW afternoon which focused on the festival of Easter.
Skills we developed as part of this experience include, Designing and painting our own kites, melting chocolate to make our very own easter nest cakes.
We made cross-curricular links with RE, Geography and Art and D&T.
