Visit to 'the weeping window' Middleport Pottery September 2018
On Thursday the Year 6 children attended the ‘Weeping Window’ poppies exhibition at Middleport Pottery. This was a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn more about the significance of the symbol of the poppy as part of our WW2 topic. The children also visited the inside of a bottle oven and were taught about the processes of pottery making.
