As part of our PE curriculum, here at New Ford, we send year groups to swimming lessons. We value the importance of being able to swim, as a life skill, which could one day save a life.

 

As well as these lessons, we teach all our children about the need to be safe around water and when children go on Educational Visits, we follow the Water Margins Safety Document as part of our risk assessments.
