To mark World Mental Health Awareness Day on Wednesday we held a Wellbeing Warrior day. The children benefitted hugely from the range of well being activities they participated in. Activities included yoga and mindfulness sessions, art and craft, circuit training, a guided walk at the nature reserve and cooking a healthy recipe. It was great to see lots of parents accessing the different agencies which came to our Market place event after school. There was some very positive feedback from those parents who took part in the family yoga sessions too. We are exploring the possibility of offering this as a more regular activity.
