Here at New Ford, we encourage the love of writing through delivering quality Literacy lessons that are centred around a text that the children find exciting and is of a high quality. This text is also used for Guided Reading sessions and they can be linked to any other of our subject areas. The lessons are focussed on the year group expected Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling expectations with Wow days, activities, trips and visitors used to create exciting experiences that provide perfect stimuli to write from.
