At New Ford, we recognise the importance of Science in many aspects of daily life. We not only aim to build on children's natural curiosity, but in teaching we ensure that enquiry is at the forefront of our learning.  In lessons, children will develop their scientific knowledge, understanding and their ability to work scientifically through a truly investigative approach. Our children are encouraged to ask questions about the world around them and with this in mind, children are able to control the direction of their learning. As one of the core subjects of the National Curriculum, the teaching and learning of Science is given the prominence it requires.
