This week our Wednesday Assembly made links to Disability and hearing people’s stories, making links to respect, empathy and Protected Characteristics.
We also made links to the Winter Paralympics as an example. We thought about how watching the Winter Paralympics sports can be enjoyable but also inspirational as many athletes embody the values of ambition, self-belief, resilience and respect.




We looked at examples of stories that showcase disabilities and the work of Baroness Jane Campbell, making links to the United Nations Disability Awareness.
