During our ‘People Who Help Us’ topics, the children in the EYFS learn about a variety of careers, including those of a builder, doctor, dentist, vet, postal worker, fire fighter, shop worker and chef.  Activities in our continuous provision link to these careers, across all areas of learning.  Children learn about the different people who help us in our local community and their roles in society, including jobs which help the environment. Visitors are invited into school to talk about their jobs.  Children talk about their aspirations for the future and what they would like to be when they grow up.
