History Wow Day
Our World War Two WOW Day helped children to embed the History knowledge that they have learnt this term. Throughout the day, Year 6 participated in different activities based around food rationing, the Women’s Land Army and propaganda. This all contributed to their understanding of how the nation was fed during the war. One child said, “It was really informative. My favourite part was the food rationing role play and learning about the black market. We also got to see real life rationing books.”
