This week’s Wednesday assembly looked at friendship, making links to our school values, alongside a brief look at events recently in the news.

We thought about how we can change our likes & dislikes as we grow older, change or acquire new hobbies and interests and even change schools. All these can have an impact on friendships. We discussed how can evolve them through kindness and emotions involved when we struggle to get along with others.

We also discussed how respect and empathy are key values to cherish in friendships. 

 Our children then voted to share their views on this question.
