At New Ford we believe that all PE lessons should:

*Include everyone,
*Be challenging,
*Be adaptable.
Our children develop their physical skills in P.E lessons and apply them to a variety of game situations.
*At New Ford Academy we also strive to give as many children as possible the opportunity to compete in a variety of competitions, during school time or by representing the school at local events. We hope that in doing so, the children will develop greater confidence, team work and learn to win or lose with grace and sportsmanship.
This term in P.E, Year 4 are completing their Forest Schools unit. They enjoyed spending time outside using natural resources to create a piece of artwork or construct a bug hotel - the children also came up with their own set of class rules for Forest Schools sessions and each signed it with a fingerprint.
Year 5 have explored movements on and around apparatus.
