Online safety parent workshops

Thank you to everyone who attended our online safety workshop on Monday 4th March 2019. The workshop was well received by the attendees. Thank you for your contributions that led to engaging conversations. For any parents who missed the workshop the presentation slides are available for you to view below along with some positive feedback about the session.  We hope to hold more workshops in the near future. As always, if you have any online safety concerns please contact any of our school staff. Thank you for your continued support.

Thank you to all of the parents who attended and engaged so well in our latest online safety workshop. On the evening of Wednesday 9th February we hosted a free parental online safety live webinar. Following growing concerns from parents and teachers around what children are accessing online and the issues it is causing, we invited parents to attend the hard hitting webinar and this included the children of attendees receiving a workbook to share with parents.

Ash Sharma- founder and author of Safety Net and Skips Educational- to delivered the very informative and topical online support course to parents. The session shared content that parents need to know. The webinar shared very shocking and real hidden danger’s that children can face when they are using the internet, social media and playing online games.

Thank you for our wonderful feedback and for the acknowledgement that as parents we are going to immediately engage more with what children were doing online. Below are results of the online polls and also quotes given following the training. Once again, thank you to all that attended and we will continue to plan further topical workshops for parents in the future.
