Owl Babies
In Nursery, we have been listening to the story 'Owl Babies' by Martin Waddell. We have enjoyed lots of different learning activities linked to the text, and have produced our own drawings of the owls from the story. We used chalk pastels to create the different features of the owls, using different marks.
Here are some of our children's comments:
Thomas drew Sarah, and recorded her 'two big eyes, beak, claws, legs, two wings and feathers'.
Nairobi drew Percy, and recorded his 'two big eyes, two wings and two legs'.
Rivahlyn drew Bill, and recorded his 'two eyes, legs, wings and feathers'.
Freddie-George drew Sarah, and recorded her 'big body, two big eyes, beak, claws and owl feathers'.
