PCSO Visit
To tie in with our 'People Who Help Us' topic, our Nursery children had some exciting visitors this week! They were Emily and Tracy, our local PCSOs. They came to talk to us about their job in the community and to show us their police car and some of the equipment they use.
It was really interesting and exciting when they pressed the horn and put the siren on! They taught us about how we could be safe in our community.
Esmae - "They put the siren on. It was noisy."
William - "She pressed the horn."
Miles - "The siren was flashing." "We saw a walkie talkie. We spoke to a police officer."
Miller - "They have a brush and clean glass up from a crash."
Amber - "They were wearing yellow and blue suits. The police car was yellow and blue."
Jinny - "I saw a camera.".
