What a delight to read this submission today – I’ve so enjoyed it. The documentation is comprehensive, effectively communicating the quality of work done to develop science (from a high starting point) at New Ford Academy. Inspirational leadership from the science SL team coupled with active and purposeful support from senior leadership, providing release time and practical encouragement towards a collaborative end, has made all the difference. The leadership team has contributed magnificently to a host of projects and developments beyond school, proving eager to share generously of their expertise within the Science in the City family and well beyond. Congratulations one and all! Much has been achieved and I feel confident that science at New Ford (and across the wider community) will continue to go from strength to strength. Onward and upwards towards your next Outreach Quality Mark in three years’ time, no doubt!
