RE - What do Christians believe Jesus did to 'save' people? As part of their RE topic ‘What do Christians believe Jesus did to 'save' people?’ the Year 6 children ‘delved’ into the Easter story. They learnt about the Stations of the Cross and discussed who may have been responsible for Jesus’ death and why he died. The children looked at Salvadorian cross designs. These are wooden crosses illustrated with scenes from the Bible; they represent an important part in the life of Jesus. After this, they designed their own Salvadorian cross depicting a part of the Easter story. Here are some of their fabulous designs.
