RE Topic - What do Christians believe Jesus did to save people?
As part of their RE topic ‘What do Christians believe Jesus did to save people?’ the Year 6 children ‘delved’ into the Easter story. They learnt about the stations of the cross and discussed who may have been responsible for Jesus’ death and why he died.
The children looked at Salvadorian crosses: these are wooden crosses that are painted with scenes from the Bible and often the life of Jesus. After this, they designed their own Salvadorian cross depicting a part of the Easter story.
