RE WOW July 2025
As part of our RE topic looking at Landmark events in life, our children have been learning about baptism, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and also weddings across Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism and secular too!
Our children got the chance to plan a wedding celebration of their own and think about how they would celebrate and mark such an occasion with a fictional budget to spend on cars, venues, cakes, flowers, videos and more. We then completed our wedding invitations and designed a wedding cake.
Before our New Ford wedding, we discussed the roles. Children were chosen to play the different parts at the wedding. Afterwards, we had photographs, danced at a party and ate cake!
