Science Topic January 2025
During our science lesson today , year 2 used tweezers and cocktail sticks to dissect owl pellets. The children used magnifying glasses and simple bone classification keys to identify which animals had been eaten by the owls. The children found skulls, ribs, teeth and lots of other bones from mice, rats, shrews, voles and birds.
