Biscuit decorating to represent the planets As part of our Space theme, the Poppies have been decorating a biscuit with icing and adding fizzy rainbow belts to represent the rings around some of the planets. Can your children name any of the planets in the Solar system? "It was tasty and sweet." Alba "I loved it, it was like the planets with the belt." William "It tasted delicious, can I have another go?" Ollie

This week, we have continued our learning about space. We used different ingredients to create our own representation of the moon. We used a biscuit as the base, spread icing very carefully, and added small Cheerio hoops to represent the craters on the moon.

This week we have been learning about space. As part of this learning, we have explored facts about the solar system, the moon and the Sun. It has been so interesting! We have made star constellations, created rockets using art materials, and baked rock cakes. The children carefully poured and mixed the ingredients to make them, and they were delicious. Thank you for your 50p contributions, which helped to fund these activities.
