UK Wow Day September 2020
Introduction:
We had a UK Wow day on the 30th September in year 1, as part of our topic in Geography.
What happened on our Wow Day
We had a Geography Wow day where we learnt all about the four countries that make up the United Kingdom. We learnt about the Royal Family, the Welsh Dragon and the Loch Ness Monster. We even had a go at some traditional Irish dancing!
We developed key knowledge about the 4 countries that make up the United Kingdom.
We made cross-curricular links with Art and completed different Art tasks.
We were also able to develop an awareness of British Values.
