Yoga sessions are by invitation only for all year groups with a qualified Yoga Therapist. They take place in the family Hub during the school day where its quiet and peaceful for children, some of who may be having a difficult time for a variety of reasons. Children feel safe and able to talk and share their feelings through a variety of activities. Some children attend only a few sessions whilst others benefit from accessing this support longer term.


Yoga Therapy is a fun and imaginative way to promote children's self-care and well being. During sessions children learn different techniques to manage the big feelings and emotions they may face throughout childhood. Each week we combine yoga poses, breathing and mindfulness techniques both individually and through group work, moving from a fun warm up to an interactive story or theme and finishing with a whole group relaxation.
