Apedale Visit
The year 5 children visited Apedale Colliery as part of their coal mine studies. The children visited the museum which featured lots of great artifacts and information, and they all went down the coal mine. A retired coal miner showed the children what life was like when the mine was open, as well as informing them of how coal mines used to be when they first opened. Everyone had a great time!
