Breadstick Sparklers 23rd October 2024
We have been learning about Bonfire Night safety this week in Nursery, ahead of half term. We made our own breadstick sparklers using chocolate and sugar sprinkles.
We discussed how we were going to make them, and learned that we needed to melt the chocolate first. We observed the changes to the chocolate when it was heated.
Some of our children's comments about the activity:
Brodie - "We need to stir it."
Lottie - "It's melted." (The chocolate)
Esmae - "It tastes nice."
