Chinese New Year 1st February 2022
Our Nursery children have been learning about Chinese New Year this week. We have learned about how Chinese New Year is celebrated, listened to The Story of the Chinese Zodiac, and learned how to say Happy New Year 'Gong hei fat choy'. We have also made Chinese lanterns, listened and danced to Chinese music, and tasted prawn crackers dipped in soy sauce, and sweet and sour sauce. The children also made paper chain dragons and produced finger paintings of blossom trees.
