We have been studying lots of different autumnal objects this week, including conkers, pine cones, autumnal leaves and pumpkins.  We looked at them with our magnifying glasses and felt the different textures.  The pine cones felt rough and the conkers felt smooth.  The pumpkins felt heavy.  We are continuing to observe the changes in our outdoor environment as the season develops.
