Farm on Wheels Visit 25th May 2023
The Nursery children enjoyed a wonderful morning when The Farm on Wheels came to visit us. To link with our topic on New Life we were able to learn about baby farm animals and how their mothers care for them. Stella brought lots of lovely animals that we were able to touch, feed and walk. We met a beautiful calf, baby chicks, runner ducks, rabbit kits and a lamb. We learned lots of facts, including that cows have four different compartments in their stomach and that ducks' feathers are waterproof.
