Geography - Locational knowledge and time zones
To consolidate their learning about lines of longitude and latitude and hemispheres, and to retrieve key knowledge about the equator and its tropics, children were tasked with labelling them on giant balloons (representing Earth). Children were able to label them and also demonstrate their knowledge of appropriate co-ordinates.
