Harvest
On Wednesday 30th September 2026 our Assembly was all about celebrating Harvest in school.
Our children sang & listened to assembly songs linked to our Harvest theme & we looked at various fruits & vegetables and their important role in keeping us healthy.
We discussed history of celebrating harvest in UK and thought about the foods they were thankful for in addition to reflecting about the work of farmers & shops to support us with the food we need.
This year we have once again been collecting food for Stoke Food Bank in order to support families in Stoke-on-Trent through our Harvest Appeal. We watched a special video produced by the foodbank. https://youtu.be/hywymrXXoVc
Thank you so much for all your support with this and the Foodbank Team will be really pleased when they come to collect all our donations next week.
