The Little Red Hen - Baking Bread 11th November 2022
This week we have been listening to and enjoying the traditional tale 'The Little Red Hen'. To help the little red hen, we baked some bread rolls. We learned how to mix the ingredients to make the bread dough. Then we used our hands to knead the dough and shape them into rolls. We then baked them in a hot oven and when they came out, we noticed how they had changed. Finally, we were able to enjoy the bread rolls with butter and jam - They tasted delicious!
