Today's Assembly was all about Remembrance Day. We thought about special things we want to remember and what can help us to do this. We looked at the origins and significance of this day. We had a time of reflection and as a school we held a two minute silence at 11 o'clock to join in with people across the country and the world.
We thought about how people are being creative in showing their respect this year with restrictions on gathering at memorials and churches at this time, including our poppy displays.
A special thank you to Care Club and Mrs Dilek for our fabulous display to mark this day and show respect within our community.
Our Reception children also made their own wreath as a mark of respect as they joined in with thinking about this special day in their own way.
