Toys from the past - October 2022

We have had lots of fun playing with toys from the past in Nursery today!  We have explored how to play with the sorts of toys that children would have played with years ago, before electronic gadgets were invented.  These included toys made of wood and metal, such as spinning tops, humming tops, a tumble down a ladder toy, a pecking chicken paddle toy, a drum, a yo-yo, a diablo, a pull along dog, and an automaton.  One of our teachers also brought in some toys that she played with in the 1980s.  It was such fun!
