Would you like to see wildlife on UK banknotes?
This week’s Wednesday assembly looked at whether we would like to see wildlife on our UK banknotes, or whether we would prefer to see people, places, inventions, or characters from books. We thought about how some people believed that we need to celebrate the diverse wildlife we have in the UK.
We also discussed how some people felt that it was important that we continued to have pictures of famous people from history on our banknotes.
Our children then voted to share their views on this question.
