The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) begins in the Nursery and continues until the end of Reception. We have one Nursery class and two Reception classes called Poppies and Daisies.  These classes work together to provide a solid foundation on which the children can continue their learning journey.  We want every child to develop a love of learning and to be the best that they can be. Our children will have a wide range of different experiences and will have a wide range of skills and interests when they join the EYFS setting.   We aim to provide an ambitious, well planned and resourced curriculum to take their learning forward and to provide opportunities for all children to succeed in an atmosphere of care and feeling valued.  We aim for transition into Year 1 to be a process not an event, with staff working together within the EYFS and Year 1 to provide continuity and progression.
